The BLUEQ project has successfully completed its pilot actions in the Adriatic-Ionian Region. An important milestone in the development and validation of innovative methodologies for monitoring coastal habitats and quantifying Blue Carbon.
Over the past months, project partners carried out field surveys in pilot sites across Greece, Italy, Albania, and Croatia, combining drone-based mapping, satellite observations, underwater surveys, and environmental sampling. These activities enabled the collection of valuable data for assessing the extent and condition of Posidonia oceanica meadows and supporting the development of the BLUEQ Solution.
